Fernanda Sampson-Gomez

Celzo

It started with an idea to make a plant-based lasagna for a group of friends. Each one of them came back with rave reviews - even the ones that were not vegan. Inspired by the love, Richard and his team continued making it and sharing it with more people, evolving the recipe and collecting more feedback... today they've got a fast-growing frozen food company!

Hans Schrei & Luis Gramajo

Wunderkeks

Wunderkeks was founded in 2012 in Guatemala City on the idea that childlike joy is a value to uphold. Its mission statement is to “nurture the inner child.” After moving to Austin in 2019, founders Luis Gramajo and Hans Schrei came together to deliver childlike wonder in everything they create! They will be launching a foundation this year with the goal of creating safe spaces for the LGBTQ community.

Therese Dozier

LUVSPUN

LUVSPUN founder Therese Dozier came up with the idea in 2014 out of wanting to give her kids a fave childhood treat — yummy, fluffy cotton candy — but realizing that kids like her son Tatum, who is on the Autism Spectrum, may be negatively impacted by ingredients such as artificial colors and preservatives. In 2018 she created a cleaner version developed by excluding artificial colors, flavors and preservatives to produce a clean product with a unique flavor experience that goes beyond just the pink and blue cotton candy most folks are used to.

Maddy Rotman & Taylor Lanzet

Anytime Spritz
