Chickpeas can do so much more than just hummus. Chef Jess Gebel, a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute of NYC, knew this early on in her career as a vegan and plant-forward chef. But she's taken the power of chickpeas to another level with Fabalish Foods.

Chickpeas and their watery by-product of aquafaba are the stars of Fabalish's line of baked falafels, vegan tzatziki, smoked spices aquafaba sauce, and the just-released aquafaba ranch sauce. (An aquafaba queso is coming soon too!)

The 10-oz falafel bags are packed with greenpeas, zucchini and parsley and are also baked, not fried as falafels usually tend to be. And since they are already pre-cooked they require only 10 minutes to bake before popping into a pita or a salad. The 8-oz sauce jars are made with aquafaba (a liquid gold of sorts, similar to the consistency of an egg) and can be used as dipping sauces or spread atop the falafels.

The Fabalish line is sold in natural markets in the NYC area but also online, with free shipping on orders over $40, making it easy to put together a super tasty vegan meal! Learn more about Fabalish with their video below!
